It was of great honor and pleasure for the fancy affair gals to attend the Macy's American Icons event this past Thursday, May 16 at Aventura Mall. We came representing the Everywhere society.
The theme was American Icons: a "celebration of people, places and things we love" In honor of our country we salute all things that make us proud to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave Macy's hosted a kick-off party. It was a night of fun-filled events, great giveaways, in-store excitement and more!
The show was filled with a musical guest band (Ground Control Miami), a marching band & dance team from the (Pembroke Pines High School). We also had the amazing talented presenter Danielle Monaro from y100 (Elvis Duran and the morning show) alongside Danielle, we had other prestige presenters such as: Cara Crowley (Vogue's Stylist Editor), Ninalicia (from Y100), Vanessa James (Multi Media Personality). Last but not least, we had a special guest/writer David Leddick- an author, playwright and actor. He has 23 books published including his latest "The Spirit of Miami Beach".
It was just a blast from the beginning at the red carpet taking pics with some of our new friends, plus enjoying some refreshing drinks from (ONLI). The show started with saluting our troops and giving honor to the families of those serving our country.
Then we began the show with some of the most amazing brands such as: Marilyn Monroe, Material Girl, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger & Ralph Lauren
Our ultimate favorite American Icon was Calvin Klein, they had some incredible pieces such as a red pant suit, navy blue lace gown, and black jumpsuit. The style was simple but yet elegant and refined, every piece exemplified women from every background living in the USA.
