With Summer fast approaching we need to make sure our body's are beach + bikini ready. I usually eat pretty healthy throughout the week and splurge on the weekends but, lately I've been splurging more than usual. A way for me to get back into shape is by implementing these fun recipes to my daily regimen.
Spinach is a store house for many phyto-nutrients that have health promotional and disease prevention properties. It's also so low in calories and in fat, I absolutely love it!
Not only is spinach delectable it's also easy to make yummy dishes so here are my top 3 favorite recipes that I've picked up along the years and want to share with you!
(I use the nutribullet)
- Fill half of the cup with spinach
- The other half with a 1/2 of a banana, strawberries & blueberries
- Fill the cup with coconut water rather than drinking water
Spinach & Pear Salad:
(Use amount desired)
- Make a bed of spinach salad
- Top it with fresh slices of pears
- Sprinkle some blue cheese
- Dressing I use is balsamic vinaigrette
Spinach & Ginger:
(Use amount desired)
- Make a bed of spinach salad
- Sprinkle some dried cranberries and walnuts
- I use Makoto Ginger dressing
