{D.I.Y- MUGS & PLATES}

So it's been a trend to decorate your own mugs, and I had been dying to do them for a little while now. Since I was under the weather this past week, I was able to have some free time and finally worked on my little project. Amanda, also jumped on this trend and decided to make a bowl and tray for her jewelry. EVERYTHING came out so adorable!

Here's step by step instructions so you can make your own creation. Have FUN!!

1. Buy white mugs, trays, or bowls- whatever you decide to decorate. I bought these  mugs at T.J. Maxx for under $3 {Total steal}.
2. Get your sharpies of choice -black, gold, or red. Any color you'll like your designs to be. I used metallic gold for mine & black for the hubby.
3. Practice on a piece of paper first, before doodling on your mugs or trays.
4. Then go ahead and draw/write on them.
5. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
6. Once you are done designing your trays and mugs, place them in the oven for 30 min.
7. Once it's done, take them out and let them cool before using them.

They held up to a sponge and soap pretty well, not to the dishwasher. So always hand wash these to preserve the design...
